Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PriCeo mobile application ("App") operated by PriCeo ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PriCeo provides price comparison, barcode scanning, price tracking, shopping list management, and community deal-sharing features. The App is provided "as is" and prices displayed are sourced from publicly available data and user contributions.

3. Account Registration

Some features require an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent price information or deals
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the App
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload malicious content, spam, or advertisements

5. Community Deals

When you post deals to the community:

• You confirm the deal is genuine to the best of your knowledge
• You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your post within the App
• We may remove posts that violate these Terms without notice
• Other users may report deals they believe are inaccurate or inappropriate

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by PriCeo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Price Accuracy Disclaimer

Prices displayed in the App are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price data. Actual prices at stores may differ. Always verify the price at the point of purchase.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on App data
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PriCeo from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
